Michael Jackson and Patrick Brazel join the board of fast growing Irish financial services software company
CashCollector, the fast growing cashflow management software company, has today appointed two significant figures from the financial services software industry to its Board, Michael Jackson and Pat Brazel.
During Michael Jackson's period as a director and then Chairman of The Sage Group plc, the market capitalisation of the business grew from £1 million to £3 billion. Michael left the Board after 10 years as Chairman in August 2006. He remains Chairman of Elderstreet Investments Limited.
Meanwhile, Pat Brazel has played an instrumental role in the growth and sale of a range of international financial software companies having been:
* CEO of Eontec, the market leader in multi-channel retail banking solutions prior to its acquisition for up to $130m by Siebel Systems in 2004.
* CEO of SunGuard Capital Markets, the dominant software supplier in the trading and risk management systems for 12 years
Founder and CEO of CashCollector, David Malone, commented:
"The market-place for cashflow management solutions has been valued at $11 billion. We are making rapid inroads into this global market. We are delighted that Michael and Pat have agreed to join our board. We believe that they can play a pivotal role in the further development and expansion of the business."
Launched in June 2006, CashCollector's software provides an automated credit control system that reduces invoicing costs and improves cashflow for businesses. Already the company has signed a series of distribution deals in the US and Germany making the software available to up to 500,000 businesses. It anticipates having signed in excess of 3000 customers by the end of 2007.
